Position: Operational Director of Accounting-Finance
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Compensation: $125/hr – $130/hr
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the implementation of Globe, collaborating closely with the IT Finance team and acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure a seamless process.
Partner with the Senior Director to enhance finance governance, including updating weekly scorecards, organizing workshops, and facilitating monthly updates from various Finance functions.
Play a crucial role in the cut-over process to ensure ledger accuracy and minimize business disruption.
Assist in recommending and setting up shared services with clear roles and responsibilities, and establish effective ways of working with TBCo.
Document key processes, including cut-over procedures, training, and business impacts.
Serve as a core super user for AP/AR and Trade Management, becoming the go-to contact for IT, business owners, and cross-functional teams.
Handle ad hoc projects, including AP supplier financing, and support strategies for transaction processing efficiency.
Lead the implementation of new processes and system functionalities for AR, AP, and Deductions teams.
Update management reporting metrics to ensure team effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: At least 8 years of experience, including 3 years in a management role. We value strong agility, leadership, and the ability to drive results.
Skills: Exceptional financial and analytical skills with the ability to make informed recommendations. Proven experience in leading change and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
Qualities: A self-starter who is inquisitive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Oracle Accounting systems, High Radius, and Globe is a plus.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. Experience in strategic planning or business analysis, and food industry or CPG experience is a plus.
Knowledge: Understanding of US GAAP and/or International Accounting Standards (IAS), with knowledge of Nestle Accounting Standards (NAS) being an advantage. Familiarity with financial concepts like cost accounting, cash flow, NPV, and ROI.
