What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Follow up on invoices sent to payers that have not yet been paid
• Research denials and convert them to ensure timely collections
• Manage a portfolio of payers, processing collections, aging, and denials efficiently
• Perform month-end reconciliation and assist other departments as needed
• Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly collection goals set by management
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Medical Insurance Collections or healthcare customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong basic math and accounting skills
• Proven ability to manage a high call volume environment with accuracy and efficiency
