The Insurance Follow-up Representative works with insurance companies to resolve unpaid insurance claims.

1. Contacts insurance companies by telephone to resolve unpaid health insurance claims.
2. Updates accounts with appropriate notes regarding action taken and conversation with insurance company representative.
3. Codes account with appropriate status code.
4. Set claims up in client system to bill.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $17.00-20.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Education and/or Experience Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
