What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Receive claims, confirm policy coverage, and acknowledge claims
– Determine claim validity and compensability
– Establish reserves and authorize payments within limits
– Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients
– Adhere to guidelines and participate in claims review
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
– Minimum of 1 year industry experience in claims handling
– Workers’ compensation experience required
– Must maintain Idaho Resident Claims Adjuster’s license
– Strong customer service and communication skills

– Familiarity with medical terminology and statutes related to claims handling
