We are excited to offer a 6-month consulting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager. This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience for the right candidate. As a key player, you will manage a variety of accounting functions, oversee ERP system implementations, and lead a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities…
Lead the implementation and usage of ERP systems, with a focus on PeopleSoft and Workday Financials.
Supervise a team including a senior accountant, accounting supervisor, and staff accountant.
Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and manage related transactions.
Oversee the management of endowments and ensure precise accounting for restricted and non-restricted funds.
Handle accounting functions and guarantee accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes.
Use your knowledge of the non-profit sector to manage funds effectively.
Support budgeting activities and resolve any discrepancies related to budgeting and accounting functions.
Utilize various accounting software systems and ERP solutions for effective financial management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting management role.
Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential.
Familiarity with ERP solutions, particularly PeopleSoft and Workday Financials, is needed.
Strong understanding of non-profit sector accounting is preferred.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Required.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
CPA or similar certification is desirable.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
