Description
• Own the critical and highly visible accounting processes around
• Revenue and deliver accurate financial results
• Regularly work cross functionally with other teams, such as Financial Systems, FP&A, Financial reporting, Technical Accounting, Data team, and Accounts Receivables to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue accounting close process, and manage day-to-day revenue accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with revenue accounting policies, procedures and SOX controls through detailed review of journal entries, account reconciliations, key controls and flux analysis
• Play a key role in our quarterly and annual review and audit process, including managing key deliverables to internal and external auditors
• Research on unusual/complex revenue transactions for appropriate revenue accounting treatment and document key revenue conclusions in a memo in compliance with ASC 606
• Assess potential business changes for impact and compliance objectives for SOX related to your areas of responsibility
• Responsible for identifying and implementing process and system improvements with the goal of decreasing days to close, while also improving team efficiency and scalability Lead/support ad hoc projects
