Position: Licensed Health Insurance Agent
Overview:
What is under 65 Insurance sales? Under 65 (U65) insurance is private health insurance for people under 65 who don’t qualify for Medicare. These plans can cover a variety of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, but typically have a deductible that the consumer must pay first. Once the deductible is paid, the plan usually covers most of the cost of care. U65 insurance can be different from the ACA in terms of coverage, cost, and benefits.
Important To Note:
This is a captive position (Definition: captive insurance agents are contracted to work for one insurance company and can only sell that company’s policies)
This is a seasonal role with multiple clients supporting multiple Carriers until 12/7.
License (Required):
Active “Health Insurance License” (Must have their resident license in the state they are currently living in)
Other Requirements:
• Ability to work full time. (40 hours a week, 5 days a week).
• Open availability between hours of operation is required
• Quiet & Professional Workplace
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills
Type:
Seasonal position ending on 1/15/2025
Pay: $19 during the training and $22 after the training
Bonus Pay: All Agents will be eligible for ‘performance-based’ bonuses TBD
Schedule:
Full-Time
40 Hour Work Week Within Hours Of Operation (See hours of operation below)
Opportunities to work overtime in the peak weeks of Client
Hours of Operation:
7 days a week, 8am – 11pm EST (need open availability between HOOPS)
Training:
5-7 weeks long in duration (8am-4:30pm EST)
