What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Review and service claims in accordance with plan provisions
– Analyze detailed medical records and documentation
– Resolve claims efficiently based on authority levels and policies
– Update reserves and input necessary details in the claims system
– Communicate effectively with customers and prepare correspondence
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Three or more years of claims adjudication experience
– Hold General Adjustor license for home state or obtain for this role
– Ability to obtain additional licenses within 90 days of start date
– College preferred or equivalent work experience
– Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– 0-2 years of experience in insurance claims adjudication
– Strong time management and multitasking abilities
