The Workers Compensation Claims Consultant must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in CA WC Indemnity/litigated claim handling or oversight. This role requires proactive organization, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently to achieve claim resolution.
Responsibilities
Establish and follow-up on action plans and diaries to ensure timely claim processing.
Engage claim adjusters in strategic discussions and action planning.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills to identify key issues and drive claims towards resolution.
Utilize claim management strategies including Medicare Secondary Payer and structured settlements.
Conduct audits to evaluate claim performance against industry best practices.
Maintain diligent file documentation, complete operational requirements, and respond promptly to communications.
Requirements
Active California Workers Compensation Adjuster License is mandatory.
Proven track record in timely and aggressive claim closures.
Ability to work independently and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
