We are currently looking for career-minded individuals to join our team as a General Liability Adjuster in the United States. In this role, you will manage, investigate and resolve General Liability claims from moderate to severe complexity, including litigation, with minimal supervision. This will include evaluating and analyzing coverage, damages, liability, injury, and property. The General Liability Adjuster will work with various clients to handle files to the conclusion of the claim.
In this role, you will:
· Complete claim liability investigations to include file handling from first notice of loss to conclusion
· Analyze insurance coverage issues on specific claims and make appropriate recommendations to our clients
· Investigate, analyze, adjust and negotiate settlements in compliance with our client’s direction
· Prepare clear, concise, and timely narrative reports and proposals for our clients
· Address subrogation and subrogation demands as required
· Analyze and evaluate damages including reserves and liability
· Maintain continuous and professional communication with our clients to ensure their needs are being met
· Litigation management
· Some field investigation, if local
· Interview insureds and witnesses
· Evaluate medical reports, injuries and lost time
Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of General Liability claims experience with experience.
· Preferably licensed in California, Texas, Florida and/or home state
· Ability to work remotely (home office)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Effective negotiation skills
· Ability to effectively and independently manage workload
· Ability to attend and assist in Small Claims Court Hearings
· Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
· Claims Background should include General Liability, Premises/Product Liability, Bodily Injury Evaluation, Negotiation skills, Contractual evaluation, Subrogation/Risk Transfer, and Litigation Management.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional organization and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year
