What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Follow-up with insurance companies on billed claims for payment resolution
– Thoroughly review patient accounts for insurance benefit eligibility
– Prepare claims for insurance billing by accessing client systems and obtaining necessary documents
– Accurately track payments and payment verifications
– Provide efficient documentation and updates in all required systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
– High School Diploma or GED certificate
– Minimum 1 year of dedicated experience in medical insurance follow-up
– Proficient in Microsoft Office
– Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
– Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multitasked environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Previous experience in insurance/medical billing/coding
– Proficiency in personal computer skills
– Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
– Ability to work in a team fostered environment
