Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, including investor reports monthly and quarterly.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Payroll: Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist in tax preparation.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on company expenses.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate records through data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance required, preferably in a similar role. Experience using Gusto Payroll software.
Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office (especially Excel).
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
