As a product analyst on the Businessowners Policy (BOP) team, you’ll provide analytical support to the broader Small Business Insurance team within the Commercial Lines organization. You’ll also support the state rate revision process, including state analysis, off-balance development and execution, post-revision monitoring, and evaluation… Additionally, you’ll engage with partners in many other parts of the organization to find the appropriate solution for the state to provide insight into how our business grows and remains profitable while influencing strategic considerations.
Cleveland based, open to remote.
Must-have Qualifications
• A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
Preferred Skills
• Prior product analyst experience or exposure to rate revisions and off balancing
• Technical aptitude and experience in data manipulation using tools such as SQL, SAS, Snowflake, R, Python, Tableau, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with strong focus on customer service.
• Experience influencing leadership decisions
• Intermediate computer skills including MicroSoft Office with demonstrated skills in Excel – including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets – including v-look-up, tables, charts and graphing
Compensation
• $70,100 – $113,200/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 24% – 30% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
