Role Overview

As a Loan Specialist, you will help customers find and secure auto finance and refinance options, all while providing exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include responding to inquiries, managing a pipeline, and offering additional finance and insurance options.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized pipeline and manage account information diligently.
• Adhere to lending partners’ guidelines and provide consultative sales support.
• Develop and implement best practices in auto refinance lending.
• Communicate loan status and approvals to customers.
• Offer excellent customer service and handle additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Experience in phone sales, telemarketing, or customer service is a plus. Experience with auto finance, car dealerships, or investment companies is beneficial.
• Skills:
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and coach through complex issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and intermediate Excel skills. Experience with CRMs is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
• High personal motivation and professional integrity.

Compensation
• Starting hourly rate: $17.31-$18.29 (depending on location)
• Overtime pay and performance-based incentives during the initial ramp-up period
• Transition to a salary of $28,000 annually plus uncapped commission after the first three months
• Average earnings: $75K, with top 20% earning $150K+ per year

Physical Demands
• Frequent sitting, occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment

Work Environment
• Work primarily involves a computer workstation, phone, copier, and fax
