Position Overview:
As a VA Mortgage Closer, you will be responsible for the final stages of the mortgage closing process. Your expertise in closing VA loans and familiarity with MeridianLink Mortgage (LendingQB) and IDS Docs will be critical to your success in this role. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure all documents are accurate and that the closing process runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Close VA Loans: Oversee the closing process for VA loans, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Document Management: Utilize MeridianLink Mortgage (LendingQB) and IDS Docs for document preparation, review, and management.
• Collaboration: Work with brokers, investors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Accuracy and Compliance: Review all closing documents for accuracy and adherence to VA requirements and company policies.
• Customer Service: Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the closing process, providing exceptional service to all parties involved.
Firm Requirements:
• Broker Experience: Proven experience working with a broker, specifically in a non-delegated selling environment.
• VA Loan Expertise: Demonstrated experience in closing VA loans with a thorough understanding of VA guidelines and procedures.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MeridianLink Mortgage (LendingQB) and IDS Docs.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the closing process.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• salary range of $48,000 – $55,000 per year DOE
