What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Develop, review, implement, coordinate, and report on financial forecasts and ad-hoc financial analyses
– Identify and implement improvements to enhance forecasting and planning systems
– Provide financial analyses and input on departmental operations to assist management in decision-making
– Initiate and develop policies and procedures for various aspects of the financial planning process
– Assist department leaders in developing forecasts focused on resource management and financial position analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting
– Minimum of five years of progressively challenging experience in healthcare finance/accounting
– Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual able to work with minimum supervision
– Effective communication skills to all customers
– Demonstrated project management skills for large-scale projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– MBA, MHA, or CPA designation desired
– Experience in researching and analyzing complex financial/operational issues
– Highly skilled in using systems that aid in analysis, communication, and financial reporting
– Demonstrates a process improvement mindset by going to Gemba and problem-solving to root cause
