What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and related tax reporting to federal and state agencies
• Provide consultation and analysis to HRAS team and clients regarding payroll services
• Investigate, recommend, and implement improvements to the payroll process
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate effectively within a team to support HR functions and processes
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field and five years of payroll experience, or Associate’s Degree with seven years of experience, or HS Diploma/GED with nine years of experience in payroll
• Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
• Demonstrated effectiveness in oral and written communication
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
• Experience with Oracle and ADP Tax (SmartCompliance)
• Knowledge of Federal and State statutes and regulations pertaining to Payroll and Tax Reporting
