Are you a financial expert with a passion for supporting crucial budget processes? We’re looking for a Senior Budget/Financial Management Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll be pivotal in shaping budget plans, managing fund execution, and offering business process support for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) “Financial Handshakes” across various stakeholder groups. You… will also represent our team in high-level meetings with contracting partners, ensuring data alignment throughout the financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the creation and management of budget plans, ensuring smooth fund execution.
• Provide essential business process support for P2P “Financial Handshakes” with various stakeholders.
• Represent our team in executive meetings, including PBORG and P2PPAWG, to align financial data.
• Oversee accurate financial management and reconciliation within the Navy.
• Utilize Navy ERP for effective financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in financial management and reconciliation, particularly within the Navy.
• Proficiency with Navy ERP, the Department of the Navy’s primary financial system.
• Strong understanding of budget planning and fund execution processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with various stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting business processes in financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with the Department of the Navy’s financial systems and procedures.
