As an accounting and financial reporting specialist senior within the Corporate Financial Reporting organization, you’ll execute highly complex statutory financial reporting. You’ll review journal entry preparations, account reconciliations, and company close analysis. In this role, you’ll monitor changes and research and ensure compliance for… accurate financial reporting. This includes managing intercompany and affiliate accounting matters and updating company accounting policies and procedures. In addition, you’ll train, direct workflow, and review responsibilities of lower-level team members.
This is a hybrid role located in Mayfield Heights, OH.
Must-have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of four years related accounting experience, with at least two years in a specialized area (e.g., reinsurance, investments), financial reporting. or public accounting experience.
Preferred Skills
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening, presentation) and organizational skills (planning, time management, priority management)
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting issues to management timely and concisely
Compensation
• $70,100 – $93,500/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
