Are you a detail-oriented mortgage professional with a knack for managing complex loan files? We’re looking for a talented Branch Processor to join our remote team and play a crucial role in preparing residential mortgage applications. Position Location: Remote (Branch located in California)Position Type: Full-Time
What You’ll Do:
• Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage a pipeline of mortgage loans with precision.
• Documentation Coordination: Collect and compile financial data, order appraisals, and verify employment and deposits.
• Application Evaluation: Assess loan applications, escalate as needed, and ensure files are complete before Underwriting.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with Loan Officers and borrowers to obtain necessary documentation and keep all parties informed.
• Workflow Prioritization: Ensure timely loan closings by managing workflow and coordinating with title companies, appraisers, and other vendors.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide top-notch service to borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders.
• Compliance & Record-Keeping: Adhere to regulatory requirements, update Encompass, and maintain accurate records of loan statuses.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 2+ years in mortgage processing, with a solid background in the mortgage industry.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Encompass and experience with desktop underwriting programs.
• Knowledgeable: Familiarity with Conventional and Government (FHA/VA) loan requirements.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to make sound business decisions.
• Effective Communicator: Strong written and oral communication skills, adept at multi-tasking and working within tight deadlines.
