As a data analyst senior or lead in our Claims Control group, you’ll collaborate with business partners across the company to gain and share knowledge of trends impacting our business. In this role, you’ll biannually conduct an in-depth analysis of claims trends along with root cause analysis and identify internal and external drivers and impact… assessments. You’ll share analyses with senior leaders and provide insights to drive our claims process agenda. As part of this position, you’ll handle in-depth analyses to support different claims areas, such as property and injury. You’ll also work on various ad-hoc analyses, with minimal focus on regular reporting tasks. Additionally, you’ll work alongside the Claims Data Science and Business Intelligence teams to learn new technical skills and assist on highly technical analyses, including predictive analytics and forecasting.

Must-have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
• Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
• Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience

Preferred Skills
• In-depth knowledge of large data concepts, practices, and terminology
• Proven ability to develop predictive data, interest in learning and high proficiency in using data analysis reporting tools such as Tableau
• Expert programming skills (e.g., SAS or R or SQL)
• Intermediate digital literacy in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint – with sophisticated knowledge of spreadsheet functionality, including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros

Compensation
• $77,100 – $124,300/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
