Finance Business Partner – Remote | WFH

Essential Functions

Assist with closing the books, forecasting year-end financials, and creating annual plans and budgets.

Review month-end reports, including actual versus budget variances.

Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data to understand cause-and-effect relationships and identify key drivers. You’ll perform a range of analyses that require data gathering and extraction from various sources.

Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales to consolidate and interpret financial results, and communicate findings to senior management.

Present financial close results, operational data, and forecasts in both written and verbal formats to senior leadership.

Draw conclusions and provide recommendations to management based on your analysis.

Participate in various projects as needed.

Develop ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by leadership.

Skills And Abilities

Advanced knowledge of financial concepts such as operating margin, EBT, cash flow, balance sheet, cost of capital, depreciation, ROE, etc.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and excellent time management skills.

Ability to clearly present information and ideas to others.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.

At least 4 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance required.

Experience In Transportation, Logistics, Or a Related Industry Preferred.

Travel: 0% – 15%.

DOT Regulated: No.

This position is remote with limited travel.

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentives based on performance and role level.
