Position Overview
The Closer plays a crucial role in our operations, collaborating with title companies, loan officers, brokers, and processors to finalize the closing process. This role offers remote work flexibility, ideally suited for candidates residing in the Mountain or Pacific time zones.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with title companies to reconcile all fees on the closing disclosure and transmit the final closing package.
• Communicate effectively with brokers, loan officers, and processors to resolve any issues related to loan closings.
• Review essential documents such as title commitments, appraisals, tax information sheets, and final approvals to ensure accuracy in the Closing Disclosure.
• Verify compliance with policies, product guidelines, and final underwriting approvals.
• Facilitate wire requests, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
• Alert leadership to urgent closings and exceptions.
• Adhere to internal policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism and responsiveness in all communications.
• Actively participate in meetings, contribute to process improvements, expand industry knowledge, and demonstrate enthusiasm for your role and our industry.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in closing/post-closing FHA and Conventional Loans, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across the organization.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
