Senior Accountant – Remote | WFH

The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key player in supporting our financial operations and marketplace functions. You’ll manage various aspects of the month-end close and financial reporting process, tackle complex accounting matters, design and implement solutions to emerging challenges, and ensure that business-critical responsibilities are met. This role offers the chance to collaborate across departments and teams, providing excellent service to our buyers, sellers, partners, and vendors. Key Responsibilities

Execute and review complex reconciliations for monthly financial reporting.

Collaborate with department leaders and external parties (auditors, vendors, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

Oversee projects requiring extensive planning and coordination with stakeholders.

Mentor team members and drive improvements within the department.

Role Progression

First 30 Days:

Complete orientation and access the resources needed for success.

Learn about ticket marketplaces and your contribution to enhancing customer experiences.

Gain insight into our accounting structure and subsidiaries.

By 90 Days

Lead initiatives that enhance processes, drive innovation, and align with our values.

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare and review reconciliations.

By 180 Days

Design and implement process improvements that positively impact the team.

Complete complex reconciliations using advanced accounting knowledge.

Refine processes to enhance accuracy and effectiveness.

Mentor others and contribute to developing the skills of your team members.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of accounting experience, including involvement in month-end close and/or audit work.

Strong understanding of accounting principles; CPA or a Master’s in Accounting is preferred.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with experience handling large datasets and advanced functions.

A proactive approach to tackling challenges and taking on new responsibilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
