Key Responsibilities
• Prepare complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Deliver exceptional client service, aiming to exceed client expectations.
• Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance (review experience preferred).
• Prior experience in industries such as construction, real estate, manufacturing, or insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with C Corps or desire to specialize in this area.
• Experience with insurance industry tax forms (e.g., 1120-PC, 1120 L, ASC 740, SSAP 101) is advantageous.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software like ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, Go Systems, One Source, Fast Tax is beneficial.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license or on track to obtain CPA certification.
• Three or more years of recent public accounting experience.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Strong technical skills with excellent organization, writing, and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple assignments, and work independently.
