As a Cloud IT manager of the Cloud Community Maturity and Cloud Quality team, you’ll lead a team of highly experienced DevOps engineers and contractors. Your team is responsible for managing two separate backlogs with our Cloud Maturity and Cloud Quality product teams. In this role, you’ll enable the organization to become self- sufficient in Cloud solutions through Cloud learning paths, host… internal conferences, develop cloud maturity models, and maintenance and responsibility guides. You’ll bring alignment and consistency in the Cloud to ensure our services are in high-quality, secure, reliable, and user- friendly. Additionally, you’ll uphold site reliability engineering practices and observability standards, track quality metrics, and foster best practices for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office and/or meeting
Must-have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of two years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery
• Instead of a degree, a minimum of four years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery may be accepted
Preferred Skills
• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and application development (Public Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, APIs, Test Driven Development). Ability to keep up with industry trends in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Proven experience with using LEAN and Agile delivery experience managing teams with diverse technical skillsets.
• Experience as a service owner working closely with product owners and agile delivery owners to help advance capabilities and roadmaps for our Cloud first strategy
• Ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships and business acumen
• Experience working with vendors and contract renewals in partnership with IT teams
Compensation
• $125,120-$153,120/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
