What You Will Do
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Financial Analyst to join our Finance team remotely. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate billing, manage accounts receivable, and maintain precise financial records. Your responsibilities will include issuing invoices, analyzing billing procedures, and producing detailed financial reports. This position requires proficiency in financial modeling, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to verify billing details.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain accurate general ledger transactions.
• Analyze current billing procedures and suggest improvements.
• Assist in customer account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Support Incurred Cost Submission processes as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 5 years of industry experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
• Experience in government contracting, particularly within DOE or another federal agency, is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and government compliance preferred.
Additional Information
• This position is remote with the expectation of working during Eastern Time Zone office hours.
• U.S. residency is mandatory.
• Employment is contingent upon contract award.
