We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team situated in New York, New York. In this role, you will be expected to assist with financial forecasting, enhance financial models for strategic initiatives, and lead process and systems improvements within the finance department. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the forecast and budget process, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication of financial information
• Collaborate with department heads in understanding their respective areas and providing necessary information
• Enhance financial models for strategic initiatives and business decision-making, analyzing potential business opportunities using detailed financial and scenario analysis and market research
• Spearhead process and systems improvements to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the FP& A function
• Drive transformation of FP& A team to become deep strategic partners for the organization
• Model operational excellence mindset by approaching work initiatives with curiosity and challenging the status quo
• Act as a leader and inspire the team during the transformation period
• Use strong quantitative analysis skills to generate practical, actionable insights
• Communicate detailed financial and procedural information clearly at all levels of the organization
• Manage multiple priorities and balance the budget process effectively
• Utilize proficiency in budgeting and planning software, as well as Microsoft and/or Google office software.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP – Financial Services
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports
• Experience in Data Mining Techniques
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Proficiency in Capital Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
