The Mortgage Closing Specialist is responsible for the preliminary reviews of the CPL & title docs along with assisting the Funding Specialist with other daily functions.
Essential Job Functions…
• Assisting with the preliminary review of CPL validation via the CPL validation Guide.
• Communicating results of review with Freedom Mortgage branch employees.
• Organizing reporting of preliminary review results.
• Assisting the Funding Specialist with required Fraud guard/mers requirements.
• Assisting Funding Specialist with other daily functions.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other Related Duties:
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
