Role: Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in driving our financial success and maintaining the integrity of our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
Financial Accounting: Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial transactions. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Intercompany Transactions: Develop and oversee processes for managing complex intercompany transactions, such as:
Reconciling intercompany accounts
Preparing and analyzing intercompany eliminations
Ensuring accurate allocation of shared costs and revenues
Identifying and resolving intercompany discrepancies
Month-end/Quarter-end/Year-end Close: Coordinate the closing processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare variance analysis reports and offer insights to management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing support and development opportunities.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on intercompany transactions
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems
