Position Overview
We are seeking a Finance Director to oversee financial reporting and analysis for our K16 Business Unit. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and investment tracking, and requires collaboration with corporate finance and accounting teams, as well as other K16 teams. The Finance Director will report to the Senior Vice President for K16 and manage a team that may include U.S.-based analysts and offshore support.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough financial and data analysis to drive business insights and add value to the SBU.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the SBU.
Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
Develop and present recommendations based on financial data to support effective decision-making.
Coordinate updates to KPIs, reports, and reporting categories to enhance transparency and business insights.
Assist in developing business strategies and planning goals for the assigned areas.
Monitor capital expenditures and track investment proposals.
Offer financial guidance and support to SBU and product leadership.
Serve as the main contact for data and work product coordination between the SBU and Corporate Finance team.
Manage a team of finance managers and analysts, and lead process improvement and transformation projects.
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
MBA in Finance and/or Accounting preferred.
CPA Or Other Relevant Professional Certification Is Strongly Preferred.
7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, management, and reporting, including interaction with senior leadership.
Proven leadership experience, including managing an analytical FP&A team.
Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, and MS Office.
Project management experience.
Strong analytical, management, presentation, and communication skills.
