What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Request and review file documentation, including income/employment verifications, bank statements, and property valuations
– Communicate with key individuals to ensure timely loan processing and closing
– Assist in clearing underwriting conditions and resolving investor stipulations
– Stay up-to-date on industry standards and maintain accurate information within the Loan Processing System
– Perform other duties as assigned to support Regional Operations functions
What is Required (Qualifications):
– High School diploma or equivalent required, some related college courses or degree desired
– Knowledge of mortgage lending policies, procedures, and regulations
– Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Effective time and resource management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– 1-2 years of experience in mortgage lending or related field
– Familiarity with mortgage origination systems and paperless file systems
