Role Summary
As a Finance Partner for our Direct to Consumer business with a focus on the Insurance market, you will play a key role in providing financial support and insights. This remote position reports directly to the Senior Finance Director and involves working closely with various teams to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, comparing them against targets and historical data for new market offerings.
Develop financial models to forecast future performance based on historical trends and business plans, including marketing and product launches.
Partner with commercial teams to provide decision support, identify revenue opportunities, and resolve issues impacting financial performance.
Support financial analysis for strategies, partnerships, and investments, including modeling potential returns.
Manage revenue and cost reporting, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple segments, and conduct scenario analysis to project revenue outcomes.
Provide insights into market performance and partner offerings, enhancing visibility and understanding of performance.
Oversee periodic financial close responsibilities, including revenue and cost accounting.
Prepare performance update materials for major Finance processes, such as monthly forecasts, budgeting, and quarterly results.
Qualifications
7+ years of relevant finance experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, or the insurance industry.
Skilled in developing financial models for forecasting and business scenario analysis.
Ability to interpret financial data from large datasets and highlight key insights.
Proficient in business intelligence tools and financial systems, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with Tableau, Oracle, and Hyperion is a plus.
Experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven track record of initiative, process management, and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
