In this role, you will handle and process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, while providing top-notch service to clients. Key Responsibilities
Process loan applications from start to finish, making sure all required documentation is collected and verified.
Review and analyze financial information, including credit reports, income statements, and asset documentation, to assess loan eligibility.
Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather needed information and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Prepare and review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and underwriting guidelines.
Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely approval of loans and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Track and manage loan application progress, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed about their application status.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan applications and related documentation.
Assist in preparing and reviewing closing documents, ensuring all conditions are met prior to loan closing.
Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance processing efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in loan processing or a related field.
Strong understanding of loan processing procedures, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
Proficiency in loan processing software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high productivity levels.
